I already had this fantastic book, but it was only signed by Paul. I collect autographed books, but I didn’t have any that were signed by a dog. So I had to buy this edition because it was was signed by both Paul and Mr. Maple. A first in my collection.
I, like Paul Castle, love and respect Mr. Maple! His journey, as imagined by Paul, is one I wish all good boys and girls could take. I truly appreciate the details about Mr. Maple's sibs and their stories - clever and meaningful. Beautifully crafted art and imaginative rhythmic structure combine to make one fantastic book for everyone not just kids. I'm 60, so I know. Brlliant job, Paul, and kudos to Matthew for his support. AND, to Mr. Maple - when you're off duty I want to love and hug the dickens out of you.
I gave this wonderful book to my best friend, who is legally blind, and has a guide dog. It’s actually for her little Grandson. They love it! Your books are inspiring.
