I bought this to give as a gift to a baby shower as they are collecting books not cards, but I read it myself first and it was super cute, made me giggle and I loved all the art and inclusivity.

Dear Paul (and of course, dear Matthew and dear Maple),

I came across your art, your creations and your passion through your, Matthew's and Maple's YouTube channel and instantly felt so seen and welcomed. Not only are penguins my husband's favourite animal, but we are (also) a queer and interabled couple that feel so much joy by your art, love and playful interactions with Matthew and Maple as we relate to many of your experiences and stories.

I gifted this 1st book of the Pringle & Finn collection to my husband for our wedding. Due to transexclusive laws, we had to wait nearly 5 years for this day to happen and I am overjoyed that we are finally legally recognized as a queer couple. Almost as a reflection to Finn and Pringle’s first adventure, our wedding cake had a special meaning to us, as it was quite an adventure to order a gluten free cake. As navigating the world comes with many challenges for me, the love, representation, and comfort you offer through your art and stories hold so much meaning to me. By showing us your vulnerability, dear Paul, you invite me to accept and embrace my own vulnerability not as a weakness but as my basis for empathic and caring relationships.

We wondered if we come across intra-species relationships in your following stories and art as we would love to see this kind of diversity!

Please allow me to notion that the delivery was kinda rough, though– the packaging was wet and ruptured and staining the two copies I ordered – whis is just unfortunate as your drawings are so beautiful and detailled! <3 We will re-read our copy many times more! Thank you so much for all the effort you put into it!!!

Those are the cutest cartoon penguins I've ever seen! I'm going to give them to my grand-niece for her next birthday.

Both the pengrooms books have become my 4 year old’s new favorites! She loves the illustrations and loves repeating “everyone agreed they made a great team”. Also a great opportunity to introduce her to different family configurations in a fun way.
