This is the second Mr. Maple’s book I have bought. I am making a book basket for a shower, and I am including three of your books along with Mr. Maple, the stuffie. I had gotten Ben them two of your books already and the are also followers of yours.
I bought this book for my two grandkids and I have shared it with one of them. They enjoyed it, especially seeing the siblings and what they ended up doing. Nice touch!
We were Puppy Raisers for Guide Dogs for the Blind for a couple of years. We found the story of Mr. Maple to be the BEST and easiest way to understand GDB. We bought enough copies so we could share and will probably buy more.
I love this book! It is so cute and very cleverly done explaining the life cycle of a guide dog all in one beautiful poetic work. The illustrations are amazingly detailed. And, of course, the dogs are soooooo cute. I highly recommend this book (or any of Paul’s books)!
