Paul is legally blind and has a service dog, a Labrador Retriever named Mr. Maple. Maple and her brother Mikey were bred to be service dogs and were separated when they were 8 weeks old. They hadn't seen each other since then, until now.
Mikey, who works as a therapy dog at a hospital in Hawaii, and Maple's humans decided to meet so the two dogs could see each other again. Paul explains that both dogs had been trained not to interact with other dogs, and they rarely show any interest in them. But when they reunite, something special happens!
My heart! What an incredible reunion! It's crazy that both Paul and Mikey's dads say that their dogs never show interest in other dogs and that neither had ever acted that way with another dog before. What a special gift the guys gave their pooches, and they're so lucky to have been a part of it!
